I believe change occurs not through instruction, but through an experience of being met over time in a way that allows new possibilities to emerge. My role is to provide a steady, thoughtful presence that can support exploration, uncertainty and growth.

Periods of transition often reactivate earlier emotional configurations. What feels like a current crisis today may be the psyche's attempt to recognize itself in the face of change. The pace of the work is shaped collaboratively. Some people come with a clear question, others with a feeling they cannot yet articulate. Both are welcome.

Psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy offer a setting in which thoughts, feelings, bodily state, memories and relationships can be explored as they emerge. Much of what brings people to treatment exists outside of clear narrative or conscious intention. The work makes room for this, without forcing clarity too soon.
Sessions are not structured around advice or solutions. Instead, attention is paid to what develops between us - what is spoken, what is difficult to speak, and what may only be felt or sensed at first. Over time, this process can support greater continuity of self, a deepening capacity to be alone without feeling abandoned and a more authentic engagement with others.

My office is located in a guesthouse nestled in quiet Santa Monica Canyon.

I am a third-year candidate in psychoanalytic training at the Los Angeles Institute and Society of Psychoanalytic Studies. I work with individuals whose early relational experiences continue to shape their inner lives and current relationships. My approach emphasizes careful listening, emotional containment and respect for the ways people have adapted in order to survive.
